Sue Westfall, MD
Sue Westfall is a board certified family medicine physician who has been providing care at the Cabin Creek
Health Center since early 2008. Dr Westfall received her Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from Ohio State
in 1982 and from West Virginia University’s School of Medicine in 1991. Dr Westfall completed a family
practice residency at CAMC in 1995. Before coming to work at Cabin Creek, Dr Westfall worked as a private
practice physician in Charleston.
Dr Westfall currently resides in Campbells Creek with her husband, Joe Jarrell. In her spare time she enjoys gardening and bird watching.
Mary Pozega, DO
Mary Pozega is a board pediatrician who has been provides care at the Cabin Creek Health Center on Wednesday and Friday afternoons. Dr Pozega focuses on health and wellness, including alternative medicine in her practice.
Dr Pozega received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Charleston in 1989 and completed medical school at the WV School for Osteopathic Medicine in 1994. Dr Pozega completed a pediatric residency at the WVU Health Sciences Center in Morgantown in 1998. When Dr Pozega is not seeing patients at Cabin Creek she sees patients at the Pozega Wellness Center located in Kanawha City.
Dr Pozega currently resides in Kanawha City with her husband and son, Garrett. In her spare time she enjoys crafts such as sewing and painting.
Scott Brown, RPh
Scott Brown, RPh is a 1994 graduate of the WVU School of Pharmacy and is currently Pharmacy Director for Cabin Creek
Health Systems and a Clinical Assistant Professor at the WVU School of Pharmacy. He also held the title of the first
Pharmaceutical Advocate for the State of West Virginia. Prior to this he served as the Pharmacy Director for New River
Health Association, an FQHC in Scarbro, West Virginia. Mr. Brown also serves as Consultant Pharmacist to the West Virginia
Primary Care Association, and has extensive clinical and retail pharmacy experience. He currently serves on the West
Virginia Medicaid P&T Committee and DUR Board, the Texas Association of Community Health Centers P&T Committee, the
West Virginia Central Fill Pharmacy Board of Directors, and several other standing committees and advisory panels.
He was born and raised in West Virginia, and currently resides in Fayette County with his wife and two children.
Betsy Kent, MSW
Betsy Kent is a behavioral health consultant who has been providing care at the Cabin Creek Health Center
since 2006. Betsy received a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Psychology from Dickinson College in 1970,
a Master of Arts in Child Development and Family Relations from the University of Connecticut in 1972, and
a Master’s of Social Work from West Virginia University in 1980. In addition to providing care at the Cabin
Creek Health Center, Betsy also sees patients at the WVU Department of Behavioral Medicine where she has
been on staff for 28 years.
Betsy currently resides in Charleston. In her spare time she enjoys gardening and reading.
Megan Olish-Terry, PA-c
Megan Olish-Terry is a board certified physician assistant who has been providing care at the Cabin Creek Health Center since October 2008. Megan received her Bachelors in Medical Science in 2005 and her Masters in Physician Assistant in 2008 from Mountain State University in Beckley, WV.
Megan lives in Charleston with her husband. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and in-laws. Megan also enjoys shopping and travel.

Karen Thomisee, PNP
Karen Thomisee is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner who joined the staff of the Cabin Creek
Health Center during the fall of 2008. Karen received a Bachelor of Arts from Goddard College in
Virginia, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Emory University in Georgia, and her Master of Science
in Nursing from Emory University.
Before becoming a nurse Karen worked as a newspaper photojournalist in her home state of North Carolina.
She made a career change to nursing after frequent trips to Haiti, where she volunteered with medical
mission efforts aimed at reducing child malnutrition. While in Atlanta, Karen worked in community health
as well as at the Lillian Carter Center for International Nursing. She also previously worked at Frontier
Nursing Service in eastern Kentucky as coordinator for a rural health care volunteer program.
Karen lives in Fayetteville with her 11 year old German Sheppard mix named Ruby. In her spare time she
enjoy playing the fiddle, vegetable gardening, hiking and biking, and spending time with family and friends.
Donna Burton, FNP
Donna Burton is a certified family nurse practitioner began providing care at the Cabin Creek Health Center in October, 2008. Donna received her Associates of Arts in Nursing from the University of Charleston in 1986, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Marshall University in 2005, and her Master’s of Science in Nursing from Marshall University in 2008. Before coming to work at Cabin Creek, Donna worked for 21 years in the emergency department at various hospitals.
Donna lives in Winfield and his married with two teenagers. In her spare time Donna enjoys reading and spending time with family.
